About the Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth, 360 Engineering has two new opportunities for Control System/Automation Engineers to join their team on a full-time basis, at both their Brisbane and Mosman, Sydney offices.
Joining an experienced team of 12 Engineers, you will be working closely with clients to design and deliver a range of automation and telemetry projects, completing a mix of office-based and field-based work. You will be working across multiple technologies; designing, programming, testing, and commissioning RTU, PLC, HMI, Radio, and SCADA systems.
Your other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the development of bids, proposals and quotes;
- Completing risk assessments and ensuring all work complies with WHS standards;
- Performing maintenance and diagnostics;
- Providing support and training to clients; and
- Acting as a mentor to junior engineering staff as required.
About You
360 Engineering is looking for someone with significant experience in control systems, and, ideally, an understanding of Telemetry. A relevant degree or trade qualification would be an advantage, but is not essential.
You will have a strong background with leading PLC brands such as Rockwell, Siemens, Omron, or Schneider, and leading RTU brands including Schneider, Brodersen, or Kingfisher. You will also be confident using Microsoft Office, and have a good understanding of advanced computing concepts such as virtualisation and networking. Any experience in ClearSCADA or Citect would be highly regarded.
You will need to be able and willing to assist junior engineering staff, whilst being open to feedback and genuinely interested in listening and learning from the highly experienced 360 Engineering team.
Finally, you'll take genuine pride in your work, with good attention to detail, a sense of initiative and a 'can-do' attitude. You will have a knack for customer service, being a naturally personable and down-to-earth individual who can communicate effectively on a technical level and work collaboratively with both clients and project staff.
